All clocks in our guesthouse remain stopped.
Perhaps, they will start moving again once you’ve regained your time.
Built 140 years ago, time goes by silently and gently in this old house.
You’ll sometimes hear the sound of wind-bells when you lie down on the Tatami alone.
Forget your busy daily life for a while, spend your time alone thoroughly.
This is the type of luxury that we want to propose to you.

Swinging on a hammock reading your favorite books, you’ll fall into a doze.
At our guesthouse, you’ll find the “Nowhere Bookstore” , where the owner himself has
selected and gathered books one by one.

何年前からでしょうか。 母の日に感謝の気持ちを込めて紫陽花を贈っていました。 真面目で何事にも丁寧な父は、その紫陽花を毎年庭へ植え替えてくれていました。 そして時を重ねる毎に、実家の庭は紫陽花で溢れていきました。 毎年梅雨の時期になると、それはそれは見事に、いろいろな種類の紫陽花が咲いています。 今年はそんな紫陽花たちから、父が増やした苗木を北側の湿気の多い土のスペースへ10本も植えてくれました。 図書室や一番奥の部屋の窓から眺められる場所です。 感謝の気持ちの紫陽花が繋がり、どこにもない家に訪れる皆さんに楽しんでもらえるようになったら、こんなに素敵で嬉しいことはありません。 お父さんお母さん本当にありがとう。 今後の紫陽花の成長が楽しみです。

掛川市横須賀にある私設美術館「愛宕下美術館」 の、柵です。 atagoshita.art 昭和初期に建設された歴史ある愛宕下美術館。 現在、一級建築士の村松謙一さんを筆頭に保存再生活動が行われています。 その一環として今年の一月に開催された「お掃除の会」に参加しました。 その際に撤去された館内の柵。 ちょうど畑に柵を立てたいと思っていたところだったので、廃棄処分される運命にあるこの柵を譲っていただくことに。 畑のどこに立てようかなと悩んでいましたが、 駐車場と畑の境に立ててみました。 なかなかいい感じです。 あるもの生かし！ 愛宕下美術館では2026年4月、公開＆お手伝い募集中です。 ご興味のある方は是非足を運んでみてくださいね😊

数年前に nest_flower さんで手に入れたモッコウバラ２株。 どこにもない家の西側に植えてから、順調に育ってはいましたが花がなかなか咲きませんでした。 ところが、、 今年はなんと一気にこんなに沢山の蕾！ 少しずつ花も開いてきており、なんとも良い香り。

どこにもない家まで300mのところにある看板をリニューアルしました。 ミヒャエル・エンデ著「モモ」に出てくる「どこにもない家」。 屋号を「どこにもない家」にしたいと思った時に、岩波書店さんにご協力いただきミヒャエル・エンデのご遺族さまと連絡を取りました。 快く承諾していただいた際、「是非、ミヒャエル・エンデの名も伝えてほしい」とのご要望をいただいておりました。 その経緯もあり、今回こちらの看板にも刻ませていただきました。 こちらの看板が見えたら、その矢印の先を西へ230m。右折して70mで到着です。 🚗🚴🏃♂️🚶🏻

明日は春分だからこっちがほぼ真西か と思いながら 今日もヤギさんの小屋入れ当番を終えました。 (ヤギは近所のお茶農園さんにいます)

敷地内に水がチョロチョロと流れているところがあって、セリが自生しています。 その水は少ないながらもとても澄んでいます。 食べようと思って抜いたセリの根に土が付いていたので、そこの水で洗うと一気に濁ってしまいました。 しかし、水は流れ続けているのであっという間にその濁りはおさまり再び澄んだ水になりました。 静かに観察しているとメッセージが届きます。 「流れに身を任せれば良い。」 セリは豆腐とともに生姜スープに入れていただきました。 片栗粉で少しとろみをつけて。 苦味に春を感じる、ホッとする一品でした。

裏の畑便り。 ヒヨドリ（たぶん）に一瞬で葉っぱを食べ尽くされてしまったブロッコリー。 大きくなるのか、諦めて食べてしまった方かいいのか迷っているうちに、あっという間に１ヶ月経っていました。 そしてわかったことは、、 葉っぱはなくても育つ。 さて、そろそろ本当にいただきます。
